| About Pacey |
[29 Aug 2010|11:14pm] |
- Pacey was born in Mississippi, to his parents Pamela and Patrick. He was a very good baby, slept through the night at a young age, and even gave up his bottle and binkie before he was thirteen months old. He loved his sippy cup though.
- Pacey joined the Army when he turned eighteen, he wanted to help severe his country. He's dream of joining the Army started when he was a young boy, playing with GI-Joe and making up missions.
- Pacey went to Iraq in 2001, right after boot camp. He fought for his country until December 2005, when he was honorably discharged when he was shot in the knee. His knee was broken in two places from the gun shot, and had to be rebuilt.
- Pacey came back to Mississippi when he was released from the hospital, after going through psychical therapy to be able to walk again. He still walks with a slight limp, and his knee is scared. But otherwise, he is perfectly fine.
- Pacey stayed with his mother when he got home, to help her with his father. He was unaware that he was sick until he made it home from Iraq. His father was after from cancer, but he didn't want Pacey worrying about it while he was in Iraq.
- When his father passed on, Pacey's mother Pamela moved into her sister's house, Patrica. He sold their family home and paid off all of his father's hospital bills.
- Pacey got his own apartment in Mississippi with his best friend Jake. It didn't last long, Jake got a job offer in Haight-Ashbury, California. So Pacey had to take over paying all the bills, while working at a Fitness Gym part-time.
- Pacey found a small dachshund outside of the gym one night at closing, after looking for her owner and having no luck. He decided to keep her, naming her Sam. They have been inseparable since.
- Pacey got a promotion at the Gym, becoming a assistant manager. Which meant he got more hours, and was able to save up money to move.
- Pacey moved to Haight-Ashbury, California when his best friend told him that he could get him a job as a security guard at his place of work. It wasn't his dream job or anything, but at least he was still protecting people, even if it wasn't the whole country.
- Pacey started work as a security guard, he worked at a local law firm for a little while, due to cut backs, he ended up having to start working at the mall now as a mall cop. This wasn't his idea of a fun job.
- Pacey is currently looking for another job, something that is fore filling, unlike the one he has now. It's been a tough time, no one is hiring at the moment.
- Pacey calls his mother at least once a day since he moved from Mississippi to Haight-Ashbury, California. She is doing better, but Pacey still worries about her since his father pasted away. He knows Aunt Patrica is taking care of her though.
- Pacey found a nice small apartment in Haight-Ashbury, rent's not bad, the apartment was fully furnished with all new furniture. He loves the apartment, it's animal friendly, so Sam gets to stay with him. He even has a small backyard area for her to play in.
- Pacey has a heart shaped birthmark on his bottom, it's a shade darker than his skin color.

[27 Aug 2010|09:03pm] |
Pacey woke up around five, forty-five on Monday morning, yawning as he slipped out of bed in nothing but a pair of boxers. Sam was fast asleep on the end of the bed, not waking as he went to the bathroom to clean up. After he released himself, he turned the shower on, pulling the curtain closed.
He stepped into the shower, letting the hot water run down his body, the whole bathroom steamed up. 'What will today bring?' he asked himself, yet didn't speak out loud. He closed his eyes, shampooing his hair as he thought about what happened yesterday.
Stupid teenagers shop lifting so their girlfriend think their cool. Since fucking when does that make someone cool? Best pick up line ever, "Hey baby, want this necklace? I stole it just for you!" Shit, if I was a girl, I'd throw myself all over him, what a keeper!
Times had sure changed since he was sixteen. Back then, you brought a girl flowers, wrote poems to her, notes, check yes or no, shit like that. You treated a girl with respect, not like they were your slave.
One of the boy's had their girlfriend stealing the clothes for him, what kind of shit is that?
Pacey sighed, realizing that his water was going cold as he stood there with shampoo in his hair. He did that sometimes, he would just freeze and start thinking about the past. Weather it was about Iraq, or about something that happened yesterday. He just...did it.
He finished with his shower, stepping out and wrapping the towel around his waist. He went by the steamed up mirror, wiping his hand across it. He stared at himself for a second, before laughing softly.
Today was a new day, no reason to dwell on the past.
